We know that man does not live on bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. The life giving and life transforming word of God is essential for the good news of salvation to spread and for christians to grow and do God’s good work in his world (2 Tim 3:14-17). Pastors need to know that word and teach that word (2 Tim 4:1-2). Many have little training and few resources to do what they know is essential for their ministries. We long to see a movement of indigenous pastors able to teach (2 Tim 2:15) and able to pass on the life giving word to still more (2 Tim 2:1-2) for the good of His church to His glory.
